Nitzan strives to identify, assess and assist individuals with learning disabilities, adaptive problems and functional difficulties. Our main objective is to enable Israelis with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential.
Our goals include:
v Advancing public awareness of learning disabilities and encourage identification and assessment as early as possible
v Helping children and youth with learning disabilities cope with their disabilities and reach their full potential
v Improving the social status of children and youth with learning disabilities
v Activating a wide ranging system of services for children and youth with learning disabilities and their families
v Providing assistance and support to adults with learning disabilities, functional difficulties, and adaptive problems, by teaching social, practical, and employment skills
