Did You Know?

• 47% of parents in Israel with children aged 6-18 have taken at least one of their children to be evaluated for a learning disability
• 2 out of 3 children who were evaluated were found to have an attention difficulty or learning disability!
• About half of students with ADHD or LD suffered this year from emotional difficulties! And ¼ of them suffer from social difficulties!

Nitzan has been helping parents who cannot afford to evaluate and treat their children, now, for more than 45 years...

In the last year, Nitzan allotted 2 million shekels in grants for children from needy families living in periphery communities for evaluations and remedial instruction.

In preparation for the National Fundraising Day, which will be on Monday, the 27th of Adar. 23.3.2009, we are turning to you with a request to donate 10 shekels, for children who are in need of an evaluation and treatment.

The donation can be made by means of SMS with the digits 10 as the message sent to the number, 2747.

Your donation will join with other donations that will be collected during the Fundraising Day and will be dedicated to this important purpose.
