A two day seminar at Liepaja University in Latvia
A two day seminar for students took place on November 24 – 25 2016 at the Liepaja University in Latvia. Prof. Ilza Mikelson – dean of the faculty of education and social work and prof. Linda Foitula, vice dean welcomed us at the Liepaja University. We were also honored by the presence of Mrs. Israela Perry Probshtien the Israeli Consul to Latvia and Mrs. Marika Pinke the cultural attache at the Israeli Embassy in Riga.
Dr. Danino acknowledged the initiative of the Israeli ambassador to Latvia, Mrs. Lironne Bar Sade that brought on the cooperation between Nitzan and Liepaja University. Participated in seminar, students from the faculties of: special education, social work and speech therapists. The students were exposed for the first time to the work with parents of children with special needs, and acquired tools from the ECC method for parent coaching.
